So ... here are some more of last week's creations:
This is a layout that I did with some older Bo Bunny paper that I've been hoarding and finally decided to break down and use. These pictures of me were taken last year out at an area way up Gray Creek in Cranbrook. It was very isolated and quiet and I remember spending much of my time that day looking out over the water and really reflecting on the past years and how far things had come and how much change was occurring in my life. There is some hidden journaling on this page... but I'm not telling where..
This next layout is one that I created using the new Graphic 45 "Le Cirque" line. I love the bright and bold colors and theme of this paper, but I have to admit that I stared at it for quite a while trying to decide how to use it before I stumbled across this photo and it all came together...This is a photo of Mack and his friend Zack being their usual crazy selves. I love the way Mack just lives so "out there" really just being his loud, rowdy, curious and carefree self. Poor Zack doesn't even know what to do with him and its all captured in the photo!
Anyhow, I fussy cut the embellishments straight from the paper, added some pop dots, stickles, Thickers and glossy accents to call it done.
This next layout is a double page that I did last weekend as well. The photos were taken by sweet Paeton when the kids were at school. I believe (hope) they were on lunch when the boys went to Giant Tiger and bought pie plates and whip cream aerosols. I love the action shot at the bottom of the first page, but the look on Mack's face in both the other photos is priceless. I used the Bo Bunny Cambridge papers (again!) bringing out the blue of the paper in this layout. The big white splat is a Stampin' Up! stamp, embossed with white powder and then a couple layers of UTEE. The paper was distressed, wet, wrinkled and inked and then I added tons of eyelets in the corners. Oh, and the brick background is white chalk ink over the Crafter's Workshop Template. All the embellies are Bo Bunny as well...
There, I think I'm about caught up. Just to share, the following are a few pics I took of my craft room, which got rearranged after last week's window installation necessitated removing everything anyhow! I figured since most of my stuff was packed up and in my car from Glendale, and all the furniture was moved it was a good time to purge, clean and re set the room.
I found this long white table in the garage when we moved in this place, so I cleaned it up, dragged it upstairs and it became an immediate favorite of mine. If you've ever crafted with me, you know that I love all my bins of stuff right at hand. Please note that my Prima flowers have now had to be separated into two larger bins... they have outgrown their space again!
so... its neat and fairly tidy and kind of organized. And we'll see how long that lasts.
Love your room, Angela! That long table is very cool and it looks like you have nice natural lighting in there. Very inspiring workspace!
